Save downloaded Assetbundle on device.
Hey everyone.
I have created an AssetBundle, uploaded it to my server and was able to successfully retrieve it from another project and instantiate the gameobject I have put in it. My problem is that the AssetBundle remains in the memory and doesn't download locally for future use.
Saving it with FileStream and retrieving the bytes[] with downloadHandler.data is impossible because of the raw data access restriction, I also wasn't able to cache the bundle.
Ami I missing anything? I saw some posts referring to persistent data paths.
I just need to check if the assetbundle was downloaded on start (which i am checking now with an integer in PlayerPrefs), retrieve it locally if it is, download it from the server if not.
Any help would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
