Publishing to Xbox Live Indie Games with Unity 3

Hi,

I was wondering whats steps are required from taking a working unity game and publishing it on the Xbox Live Indie Marketplace? I know there is a license for xbox360 that goes around $80K.

Is it even possible at all to have Unity games running on the Xboxlive market place or do I have to use XNA for it?

Basically what I want to know is how easy is to develop an unity game and release in several platforms (xbox, ps3, android, ios)

Thanks for your answers

Sorry, you cannot use Unity to publish to XNA. Unity, which is currently written in native code, would have to be ported to C# to be XNA compatible.

As far as development licenses, you can find all that information on their website. The restrictions are quite high for being a professional developer such as a secure office and various other requirements to prove that you are a professional studio.

For Indies though, I believe the requirements are considerably lower, but you will be on the Indie page only. Most students or hobbyists can publish to XNA.

visit this website http://create.msdn.com/en-US/ this is microsoft's developers program or something there abouts, you have to pay to register but this is how you start getting your game published on xbox indie. I think you sign up get the tools and dev kit (you may have to talk to unity about getting the Xbox publishing plug-in) then when you have made your game submit it to the website's community for scrutiny. I believe it's all explained on their website.
