Canvas breaks on scene change
I have a canvas that holds the inventory menu that never gets destroyed. The game is set in a school so each classroom and floor is in a different scene. The inventory menu seems to work just fine on the first floor where is starts but when loading into another scene it breaks. The buttons and the OnMouseEnter event seems to just stop working. I had to give each inventory slot a box collider to work with OnMouseEnter which might be a potential reason these issues come up. I'm not really sure how to proceed.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
