How can I re-position the world origin in AR?
I'm building an AR Android app and I'm trying to change the world position. My end goal is to allow a user to:
Open the app anywhere
Move in the real world
Click on a button to reset the world origin on their current position
The AR objects should appear relevant to that position even if the player moves from that point on.
From my research, the best function I found is ARSessionOrigin.MakeContentAppearAt(Transform content, Vector3 position)
, but according to the documentation: "The function makes content
appear to be placed at position
". What can I use as content
to make the World position seem like it moved?
Thanks in advance!
Alternative solutions are very welcome.
