how to rightly detect a punch and manage health in a 3d fight/combat type game?
I have been trying to make a working health system for my combat/fighting 3d game. Health decreases whenever the punching animation of player 1 is true (i.e. isPunching == true) and the P1's hand (collider) is colliding with Player 2. The issue is that the player keeps on colliding when moving forward and hence, the health decreases very quickly. Kindly, someone help.
