Which unity version should i download for macosx el capitan (10.11.6) ? ,which unity version should i download for el capitan ?

I have gone through many reviews, but it's still unclear to me as in to which unity version i should download into this machine.
I am only a beginner at this. And my future plans is to simulate engineering designs etc.
But for now, I doubt this mac can handle the work considering the GPU and all, but even to just get it start working would be good.
Please help me out ! ,
The version of Unity is not the limiting factor. It's more closely related to how complex the scenes are, how many game objects exist, etc.
If you're a beginner, you can start with any version then try going through a number of the tutorials but be aware that many of them were created using older versions (than the very latest -2019.1) so they might not work.
Remember to make regular backups of your work.
