HTC Vive Pro crashes Unity, Steam VR reads "(unresponsive) Unity.exe"
Hi all,
I have recently been working on switching from Oculus CV1 to the HTC Vive Pro. I have recently encountered a huge problem where, when I press play in the Unity Editor, Unity freezes and, on occasion, causes the entire computer to freeze. When looking at the SteamVR desktop app, it reads the message "(unresponsive) Unity.exe". Further, when I force-quit Unity and re-open, the instance of the project is still running.
I have tried this both with the SteamVR Asset package and without (using OpenVR). I would prefer not to use the SteamVR asset package at this point in time. I would appreciate any advice that you can provide!
