new scripts wont work, old scripts work fine. why? new scripts won't do ANY work.
The problems started when i was using Visual studios community 2017. while i was using it. it had no problem before but one day i woke up and i said "hey i might as well work on unity i got three hours till work" unity decided to be a complete A. it stoped letting me add or modify. any of the scripts. i tried for three days figuring out why all of the sudden. i never mess with file locations or anything like that. i did every possible solution that YouTube and the internet had to offer. so i decided to uninstall Vs Community 2017 and unity editors and lost all 6 of my projects because wasting three days trying to fix it was nothing short of frustrating. so i decided to install VS Code instead. it works...... not really. I can open any scripts now. but the only ones that stay activated and wont automatically disable themselves is if its one of the 5 unity assists scripts. Player/Cameracontrols/restartlevel/Portal and saw. those Five scripts are the ONLY scripts that remain activated and operational. ANY other New scripts will automatically disable themselves not even a minute after i save the new scripts. pleaseDoes Any Human Know What I Need To Do So I Can Continue On With My Game? Or is there no solution? in any case i need to know if i should be looking for another game development software or not?,
