Upon re-import, 3D objects in my Unity scene displace inital location?
I'm building a scene in unity that has multiple duplicates of the same model. I'd like to edit the model in Maya to finish it off after I laid down my composition, but I can't seem to update this mesh its translations being wildly effected after it is re-saved to the Asset folder.
That is to say, the object translates WILDLY away from it's initial position. It doesn't seem to be a matter of small pivot point changes.... The mesh always translates many hundreds of units away.
Any idea whats causing this?
