Sending int variable over a network
I've made a game that has multiple choices and depending on these choices some different endings occur. This is managed by a counter that is incremented based on player choices. However, I've been trying to find a simple way of displaying the incremented number is a separate instance of the game running over a network and am finding it really difficult to understand the network manager.
This game isn't a multiplayer game, so trying to use the network manager has been really frustrating because I don't want to create multiple instances of my main player prefab. I merely want to take an integer variable from this one script and display it in another scene running over a local network.
I'm somewhat new to using the network manager functionality in 2017, but once I can get this simple message to send between two different instances of the game I'll know how to get that data to display correctly in my other instance.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
