How to make point cloud collide with other Object?
I download Point Cloud Free Viewer to load my point cloud data and it looks great. But,it is a pity that I foud it could not interact with others, such as collision.
Could anybody tell me the reason? Thank you!!

Hi!
I think pointclouds will never collide with other object, because the points aren't related to each other mathematically. It's just a bunch of coordinates. You have to make a mesh or some model from them, so they can have a "solid" state to be collide with. Mesh models in obj file format are supported by Unity.
I make a model now using PCL. Do you know some good methods to transform? It is better that the methods can be use in Unity directly.
$$anonymous$$aybe there is solution for that in Unity as well, I dont know much about it. $$anonymous$$aybe its faster if you do it with a specific software like Geomagic Studio/Wrap or $$anonymous$$eshlab. With meshlab you can create textures also, that mtl file and the model's obj can be easily dropped into unity.
