bone rotations changed in 4.3.2 inspector?

I have a penguin model in which all the bones were originally rotated to 0,0,0 in the inspector. Now in Unity 4.3.2 (upgraded from 4.1) the inspector shows them all to be non zero. I think the inspector is showing world rotations instead of local now? Is there some setting to change this back.
