Special characters from Web
I'm having some problems with reading european characters from web (,,,...).I'm trying to load text from a php request, but when I add special characters unity can't read the page and if I encode the text and then decode it with WWW.UnEscapeURL, he doesn't add the special characters, they're just omitted.
my script in which I read it is UTF-8, so if add special characters in my string via code, it works. So I'm guessing the output of UnEscapeUrl isn't UTF-8.
Could you edit your question to include the code you use in your client, and maybe even some url whose output that code fails to parse?
We've found the problem, we had to export it in our php as rawurlencoded().
sorry for the inconvenience (we've had this problem for some while)
There's no need to apologize - you had a real problem. If you found the problem and a solution that solved your problem, please do write the solution you found as an answer to your original question so that it will appear as answered. Even if the problem wasn't inside Unity, the answer could still be useful to other people.
Hi Jeroen, it would be good to mark Rune's answer as accepted so that other people know at a glance that's the solution.

Try encoding the characters in your PHP using rawurlencode() and see if that helps.
