How to display images on top of TileMap during runtime?
I'm trying to display images with information about the corresponding hex on top of the same hex:
Earlier I discovered I can layer Tilemaps on top of other Tilemaps. I thought about displaying the information in hexes above the original ones, but there would be so many combinations of images.
I drew these icons instead with a smaller circle at the bottom right for the amount of the resource.
What is the best way to approach this problem? Do I add GameObjects to the 2D world? Do I use UI? Maybe a World Scene Canvas?

P.S. The small circles would contain text with the amount of resources.
