Location Service in editor, will it return fail?

Hi, I did a search and it didn't seem like this question was asked.

I was just wondering,will the Location Service be disabled in the Editor game mode?

I'm doing some testing for a mobile app but GPS data will be used for functionality and I'd just like to be able to switch between a static set of coords for local testing, and the normal variables for release. Thanks in advance.
