Seeking recommendations on Combat System Templates

I hope this is the appropriate place to ask, it seems to be from the forum descriptions.

I'm looking for a prefabricated combat system, or perhaps multiple. That I can combine and/or build out from. I'm looking to create something resembling the combo chain system you see in games like God of War (1-3) as well as CastleVania Lords of Shadow. Something that could be used to 'gate' combos behind currency exchange (like lords of shadow) would be handy as well.

With so many assets, and some of them likely being good, but also being poorly described; it's been a challenge.
