Equip a Weapon?
So, I'm working on a bit of an RPG from scratch. In it, I basically have the player act as a separate entity to the fighters, influencing them to fight on their own. I've set up the AI to choose the action based on three different stats influenced by player input. Now that I set this up, I'd like to work on some of the more intricate aspects, namely, equipping.
I'm setting up a script to store a set of weapons (which includes a class defining the stats of the weapons as well as a list of the weapons which sets up the stats). Now, the problem. I'm trying to set up an equip screen, but I was wondering if there may be a possibility to programmatically add to this UI to potentially create multiple buttons for each party member in order to equip a weapon to them? Or is there a potentially better method to equip these weapons?
