Question by fragilegranny · Sep 21, 2015 at 02:06 AM · not working

Why doesn't it work?

I used to be able to play a certain game on Facebook using my Google Chrome browser. Then, I was told I could no longer use Google Chrome because FB would not support Unity Webplayer. I would have to use IE or some other browser. Fine. I started using IE to play the game on FB without problems. Then, on the 19th I tried to access the game and was told that I had to "upgrade" my unity player. I followed all the instructions and was told that I had successfully downloaded unity web player version 5.2.0f3. However, when I tried to access the game again, not only could I not access that particular game, but no other games using IE at all. I have spent the last two days trying to talk to someone with a pulse as to what the heck is going on. My computer says I've successfully downloaded. The people who run the game I want to access says that there's nothing wrong with their programming and I can't get a straight answer for anybody. I'm about two seconds off from chucking your "service" [?] entirely.
