3rd person
Every once in a while when I make a third person character something happens with the animations. Every things fine when i hit play, but when i start walking foward the animatiion plays perfectly, execept hes walking 5-10 feet of the ground. It contiues to do this with all the animations working perfectly but hes stuck at 10 feet above the terrain. ITs really weird and i have no idea whats diffrent between that one, and other 3-rd persons ive made.
Its $$anonymous$$e/unities. I took the plumbers body away and put my own character with animations in its place. It works perfectaly most of the time

You might want to check your model's position relative to your character collider's position. If the collider is 10 feet below your character, it will appear as if he's floating.
I had this problem when I first worked on the 3rd person controller with my own models. just zero out the model so it matches the collider
