Hingejoint2D makes a spin before getting into the angle limits.
Hi everybody, I use hingejoint2D in a object for creating a rotation around a pivot (like a rocket orbits around a planet) and assign angle limits which lets this rocket to rotate in the direction of the rotation. However, hingejoints 2 makes a spin before getting into those limits. After making this spin angle limits work just fine. But I dont want this spin. Do you have any idea? Please help. Thanks
I'm having this same issue and can't figure out how to fix it. The only way I can stop it is by disabling the limits, which fortunately for me I think will work for my purposes. Maybe applying limits through a script will solve it.
Also I upvoted, I'd love and answer to this question, I think it might be aunity bug, maybe file a bug with them?

Hi @onuralp20002 , i have the same problem too and i think fixed it and like the problem is umm the if the degrees of the hinge has bypass or like the original is 360 degrees and it likes it reach like 460 soo maybe it is the cause of the object to spin and finding the real degrees even the 460 degrees is not counted as degrees. I hope that this answer is helpful.,Hi @onuralp20002 , i have the same problem too and i think fixed it and like the problem is umm the if the degrees of the hinge has bypass or like the original is 360 degrees and it likes it reach like 460 soo maybe it is the cause of the object to spin and finding the real degrees even the 460 degrees is not counted as degrees.
