charController.move() much slower with exact same values?
I'm remaking a platformer I made to refactor the code, but when trying to move the character, I'm getting some weird results.
Moving the character through controller.move(movement)
where controller
is the CharacterController and movement
is the movement vector is much much slower than using the exact same vector in my original game. Both move at a top speed of 4 * deltaTime, but even when Debug.Logging the velocity, the movement vector etc. They both seem identical. So why is my new one moving way slower?
All help appreciated!
