Vertex animation into Animator is posible?
Hi guys, sorry for bother but i would like to know if is posible to turn animated sample.FBX (vertex animation) exported with in2Unity tool into .anim that is for Animator because when i throw the clips that i got after exporting from max it doesnt accept it i also tried to copy it out of the container and yea it accept it but the clip is empty because there is no vertex information. I cant find a way to control these animations without Animator.
my character is an Slime i dont know if it worth rigging an sphere that deform alot thats why i tried vertext animation but i think it was a bad idea. Thanks in advance!!!

Why are there no games with slime characters yet? Well, you answered it: there's no vertex animation in unity. And there's no way you can animate water and similar stuff. Deform your sphere mate :)
i got it but in a weird way... im still happy with the result using 3d max i created 1 sphere and made 16 diferents copys in every copy i made 1 key frame of animation mostly using references and soft selection tool later on in the base model i created a cat parent object onli the pelvis and after that i use morpher modificator to get the info of those 16 instances on the base model. I made the pelvis so the bone can save the information of the mesh since it has 100% influence around all the sphere i exported it as FBX thicking point cache option and including "preserve instances" and deformation "morphs" such weird process but looking good also thanks for the help buddy!!
