how to texture two instances of a character
I'm trying to create two instances of Vincent from the male character pack and give them two different textures. I drug two of them onto my scene and I selected GameObject->Break Prefab Object from the menu. I thought that would make them into two separate objects. But, when I apply a texture to one, it appears on the other. What do I have to do to be able to texture them differently?
Thanks,
Mike

They are still sharing the same material. So you need to duplicate the material, assign the new material to one of the game objects, and then change the texture.
