Okay This is Officially WEIRD! Layers flipping out by themselves. HELP
I've got a few prefabs which contains of several parts so inside the prefab I've got a bunch of GameObject pieces. I started out with giving each section I want to color its own sorting layer.
This had the strange result in all the Same sections from Different prefabs got overlapped in runtime. So no good, I need each prefab Gameobject to be on its own layer. I've tried a lot of things. I change the layer and/or sorting layer of the prefab containers and it Debug that its working but I can't see it in runtime or check inside the hierarchy at runtime, the info is not that and they still overlap.
So now I tried this. I remove all tags and sorting layers and try to set the parent to +=i so they get on different layers.
Now the prefabs really start behaving weird, I've got a video to show this so please if you understand, help me sort this problem. How can I have each Initiated prefab on its own layer so that the Graffiti Letters in this case don't overlap or start acting crazy.
