Is MonoDevelop Forever Gone Since Visual Studio Introduced in Unity 3D Ver. 5?
Quick question: can I still using MonoDevelop even in later version updates in Unity 3D? I'm currently on ver. 5 and Visual Studio introduced me for better UI and programming experience. 2 months laters and I got a warning notification and it said that it will expired within 5 days.
I usually programming offline. I'm an indie game developer. If that happens and Visual Studio is unusable until I pay it online, I stick to MonoDevelop since it's lighter and reliable for basic programming and debugging needs. I just wanna make sure if MonoDevelop will still be here and available anytime. If there are changes in the update, let me know it.

If you want to switch back to MonoDevelop, simply open a project, go to Edit > Preferences and under External Tools, switch External Script Editor to MonoDevelop. Hope this helps!
