Making hands move with weapom

Is there a way to make hands of a character rotate upwards/downwards based on camera rotation? I want my character hold weapon but i can't make the hands rotate too and i NEED them in single mesh because of mecanim. Thanks for reply.

Are you working in 3D or 2D?

If you are working in 3D 1st person, try attaching your weapon to your hands as child objects, which should be attached to the main camera as child objects. The same thing works in 3D 3rd person as well. Also, make sure to get the weapon included into your animations as well.
