How to open a popup panel asking to restart application after graphics setting adjustment?
I made a mobile game, and I can't figure out a way to enable a popup panel (with text asking user to restart the app after adjusting the graphics using unity's built in drop down gameobject) after the user selects a different graphics setting. I tried enabling the panel by using gameobject.setactive(true) whenever the user changes the quality index, but the panel gets enabled before that.
The reason why I want to add this feature is because I set my game to change its DPI for the low graphics setting, but it doesn't seem to take effect instantly like the rest of the graphics properties and only applies after restarting the app. Unless I'm doing something wrong and the DPI change should update instantly and there wouldn't be a need for me to create a pop up window asking the user to restart the app.
