I have reported this as a Unity bug
Antialiasing in WebPlayer 3.4.1 OSX Lion
I have problems getting antialiasing to work in the WebPlayer (all browsers on OS/X Lion).
Basically what I did was:
Create a new project that shows a cube rotated (so the outline shows aliasing artisfacts)
Ensure player uses Forward Rendering
Adjust default quality setting to be fantastic (this uses AA x2 multisampling). This is done for all players: (Webplayer, Editor, etc)
Now the editor uses AA x2 correctly
Build a web build
When I open the webplayer the scene is now displayed without any AA
A standalone build works fine

I have created a small project that shows the problem:

Anyone else having this problem (Windows or OSX) - please write a comment to this question?
Any any workaround? I'm pretty sure that this is a new problem from either 3.4.1 or 3.4.0.
Update: It seems to be a problem related to OS/X (in other words it works fine in Windows).
I'm running on a MBP early 2011 with a Radeon HD 6750M. Does other configurations have the same issue?
Radeon HD 6750$$anonymous$$ sounds like a laptop/mobile graphiccard. I've seen many "less supported" features on such. Perhaps thats the problem. Not the webplayer, but the graphiccard. A lot of them also have probems with too many alpha transparent surfaces on same location in a scene.
$$anonymous$$aybe you are right. The funny thing is that it actually works when I go fullscreen, so maybe the bug is related to AA to offscreenbuffer (The browser plugin most likely renders to an offscreen buffer).
