How do I get 2D Soldat-style camera movement/aiming?
Greetings! I'm pretty new to Unity, and have a -decent- grasp of Javascript, but I'm still learning. Moving my character is not an issue. What I cannot, for the life of me, figure out (or find, I'm not sure if I'm searching the wrong keywords or what), is how to get a crosshair object to be moved directly by the mouse, and for the camera to follow the point between the character and the crosshair. The MouseLook script doesn't seem to function at all in 2D. Since I'm pretty good at breaking things down into flowcharts, I purchased PlayMaker (which is astoundingly helpful), but I still can't find how to do this in there. If anyone could give me either basic UI or scripting advice for a solution, and/or a PlayMaker equivalent, or even direct me to a previously-answered question like this one, I would be incredibly grateful!
