Asset Store tools Failed Communication Error
I am trying to login to upload a unity package to Asset Store but when I select Upload Package from the Asset store tools menu and submit my login credentials it shows the following error. I connect to proxy network in my college. But asset store works fine.
I'm probably way too late but you must of entered your username or password wrong the username is your email and the password is your password I think its all for the unity account not the publisher account.

SO INFURIATING. How can a fundamental issue like this ("Username" vs "email address") go unaddressed for TWO YEARS? The frustrations of working with Unity mount with each passing version.

Same problem, then found out username is my fooking E-Mail address, then I'm in, then I laughed.

I laughed, I Try with same email & password I use for login to Unity when it first start... Same error
It try removing farewall, install Unity 2017.1.0 & 2017.1.3 & 2017.3. Still no result
Just wait a $$anonymous$$ute, then try logging again. Unity will limit the login process for a while if you failed to login for about 5 times, wrong password or email.
Its been way more than 5 $$anonymous$$utes, and still doesn't work same error, failed communication
By the way, when I import the Asset Store Pro it require an API Update
I had windows Insider and had to do a fresh complete reinstallation to get rid of it. Now, it is working perfectly.

Edit > Clear All PlayerPrefs
After an hour of resetting my password, logging out, logging in, restarting, reimporting, configuring the firewall, disabling the firewall and so on, I randomly did this and it instantly helped.
And of course, username field is your Unity account email.
