How did all the spam get into the help room?
I just woke up and found the help room filled with chinese questions and they all look like bots work. Could someone do something about that?
and it's getting flooded still. I think that's a major problem
Well there is no moderation on Help Room, so once they got past the captcha's... Game Over? Now if only I had 10k karma D:
The mod queue for the default section is filling up quickly too! @SaraCecilia @dzone_adm HALP! :)
It's still continuing to poor into the Help Room and there's no way to delete fast enough to keep up. Some of the user accounts are the same as those in the moderator queue and I've suspended them, but they're still posting so the suspension is maybe not taking effect in the help room. Anyway, it's on the Unity folks now. Somebody needs to write some SQL. :)
Ohh, and I thought something was wrong with my Computer. I restarted like 5 times already :D

Apologies for the spam attack, we're looking into it as suspending users/deleting their content is currently ineffective.
Edit: For now, it will require 2 karmapoints to post in the META and Help Room spaces until we get this sorted out.

I cleared out the mod queue and suspended the accounts, but just as I finished new ones started coming in with new accounts so that's likely a losing battle.
I also don't see any way to suspend a user from anywhere except the mod queue, so I'm not sure how to do that in the help room.
A nice feature would be to auto-reject any messages in the mod queue when a user is suspended. At this point we have to go through every message even if we've suspended the user.
