3d person controller

I m knew in this software and i want a big help. I designed a babyroom and i imported the 3d person controler. My task is this: the worker avatar is walking and must take an object from one place (table, carry it and put it on another spot (bed). I am trying to write a script for the pickable object. A) Is this the correct way? B) Could someone help me by giving me an example? Object's name is Cube Thanks very much. I m stacked
