Help wanted on how to structure a game with separate single- and networked multiplayer.
Hi total amateur here. Not expecting anybody to make my project for me. Just pointing me in the directing of relevant resources.
There are certainly plenty of unity tutorials out there both for networked games but especially singleplayer ones.
But none that i've found that explains how to structure a game with both local singleplayer and networked multiplayer on a fundamental level. I'm thinking the player is greeted with a simple single/multiplayer menu on startup. Where the multiplayer option enables the NetworkManager and adds networkidentity to the prefabs etc. But i have no idea if this line of thinking is optimal it currently feels like i'm trying to reinvent the wheel.
Any tips or recommendations for tutorials, literature or asset packs you'd think would help are welcome. I'm not against spending a smaller amount of money for books / asset packs etc.
