Audio no longer 3d when I build to android
I'm doing a google cardboard project that requires directional audio. When I attach my phone to my computer in debug mode, plug my headphones into my computer, and press play, I can control the direction of the camera by rotating my phone and the relative direction of the audio that I hear through my headphones changes accordingly. In other words, if I turn the camera so the audio source is to my left, I hear the audio louder through my left ear than my right, and the opposite occurs when I turn the camera so that the audio source is to my right.
However, when I plug my headphones into my phone and then build the project to my phone, I can hear the audio, but it doesn't change its apparent relative direction when I turn my phone around.
Is this a limitation of android, or have I messed up my build settings somewhere? I'm using a galaxy s9 if that helps.
