Unity Trees glowing on midnight skybox.
Hello, I am having an issue in my map where terrain trees glow with a midnight and night skybox. When I am near the trees with a directional light source as the second image shows the trees load in as normal taking away the glow. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong in this instance? Skybox Asset Thanks :).

Send a picture of your "Lightning" window settings and I may be able to help as I've encountered this problem before as well.
Hmm... there doesn't seem to be anything wrong, just few suggestions try baking your lighting if you haven't already also you could try placing your light into the sun slot and meaby you could get it working by changing ambient source to color and to black or very dark color. also this might be helpful: link
Here are skybox settings it doesn't seem to have any light settings.
@no00ob I don't have a light source added to the map besides the skybox, and the Flash light. By Baking do you mean building the light?
Yes and if that doesn't work meaby try to use real time global illu$$anonymous$$ation, in never versions of unity it's called baking that's why I got the name wrong.
@echoatlas Now that I've been looking at your trees I may have figured out the way this happens it seems to only occur with the billboards because there's actually one black tree in the foreground so can you confirm this by changing this property in the terrain higher, it will wreck your performance but you can turn it down after testing so turn that up and see if most of the trees are black like they should be.
It Worked! Setting the billboard from the original number of 50 to 2000 worked. But performance like you said is really bad. @no00ob Is there a way to bring back performance? After reading the docs I also now know what billboard sliderbar does.
Nice! Ok so what I would do next is to check if the billboards have material that's unlit and change it to lit, but as I'm not sure where exactly the billboards and their materials are in tree creator trees I'm not so sure how to fix this further. Only thing I can suggest is to change the Render Queue to something different but that's just a guess.

The trees might have a shiny material attached to them. I suggest checking out the "Smoothness" on the tree's material and turning it down. @echoatlas
Please mark this post as answered, if my solution worked!

@PolyvivalStudios After turning down the shininess to most minimal and rebuilding lighting that didn't seem to help. Could it be anything else? Going to try deleting the terrain trees and re-adding them in the mean time.
You can try to see if turning the light probes off will work. You can do it from the mesh renderer of your tree prefab. @echoatlas

The lightprobes are off for the prefab. This is the result of turning down the shininess and re-adding all trees to the terrain there is still glow. :/ @PolyvivalStudios
