How to disable picking of other Scene objects in Custom Inspector and still have active Inspector respond to scene clicks
Is it possible to disable picking of other scene objects in custom inspector, and have the active object's own stuff like Handles still work in Scene view? I've only been able to disable all picking(input from the scene; this is not what I want as I want the object's own Handles widgets still respond to clicks in the Scene View.
I am implementing a bezier path tool that would greatly benefit from this as misclicks will often lead unwanted picking of a scene object

Ok found out the best solution is to force the selected tool to be "Hand"; this enables object's own Handles in scene view, but does not pick anything.
in some inspector's OnEnable(), set the Tools.current = Tool.View;
