Working with Version Control and some meta files not update ?
Hello I have a problem with github and meta files. For example When I change a scene or script , their meta files update with them but when I change a material , their meta files not update because of this , Github not send changing metarial to other side. Any idea or solution ?
Can you explain why you want the meta files to change? They don't normally change when you change the associated script or material.
Hello @Bonfire-Boy , For example when I change a material or assign another texture to material , github show me that only material change, not meta files , When I commit and pull it , In other computer , when I pull to commit, $$anonymous$$aterial not get this update from online repository. I only suspect from meta files maybe , It is not going there about material infos.
I think your problem is probably elsewhere. Like I said, when you make those kind of changes, you should not expect the meta file to change. You should be able to commit the change to the .mat file to github, and pull it to another workspace to get the changed material.
