How to redeem ios IAP promotion code?

Hello guys.

If I have a consumable IAP in my game, and I had generated promotion codes for this consumable IAP.

For Android: I can redeem them in Google Play and get my item when I resume the game.

For IOS: It does not work like that, Restore purchase does not restore consumable items, so how can I redeem this IAP on IOS?
