Game gets stretched on phone
I made a simple game with squares. It looks perfectly fine on the unity standalone build However, when I port it over to the android build they become stretched into rectangles.
Below is a screenshot:
Additionally, it's not even doing a weird stretch to fit, that's a coincidence it seems, since when I raise the camera size, the game objects remain stretched.
Another screenshot: The extra thick bottom border is a result of me adding an extra row of gray tiles as part of the stretch to fit testing (If it had actually been stretching to fit, it would've shown up in the first picture).
I created the board by placing a bunch of clones of tiles, they all have a single default sprite renderer and box collider 2D except for the gray tiles (that are the same but don't have a box collider).
I'm using an orthographic camera of size 5, default Viewport Rect (x = 0, y = 0, w = 1, h =1).
For player settings, I went with Resolution Scaling disabled, native aspect ratio, portrait orientation by default. I played around with these settings a bit but I could never get it to be portrait and not stretched.
I also removed the canvas scaler but I don't think that affected things at all.
