Variety of animation and meshes.
Hi community, This is my first post asking for help (and I really need some help with the main concepts I think).
Recently I've followed the new Adventure Game tutorial in the Unity YT Channel and I really love it, but I get "shocked" when I've downloaded the project and I saw that all the characters were animated inside Unity (bones imported/genarated in Unity). Since now I've always baked the characters animations in Maya and then I just export the mesh with the animations (without the bones) to Unity for beeing called when I needed, but now I'm thinking which is the best way of animate a character.
With that said, I want to attach one more question to this post following the Adventure Game tutorial. In the short game you've got to wear a fake sunglases to finish the game. That simple action is just breaking my mind, combined with the first question. Which is the best way to get the animation of the sunglases from the ground to the character face. I can supose that after this animation the sunglases are introduced in the character game object to move with him... maybe xD
So probably the first question is: Wich is the best way to get the character animations? Inside/Outside Unity? And maybe Pros and Cons for a completed answer?
The second question is: Wich is the best way to make interact the character with enviroment items? Maybe the item is attached to some bone?
Well, that's all. Thanks for the answers.
