2d knockback for fighting game
I'm looking to create a specific type of knock back for a 2D fighting game I'm creating. I want the pushed object to stop moving when it hits the ground, so simply adding RigidBody.AddForce() won't work. If you're having trouble imagining what I'm trying to get, think about the knock back in Super Smash Bros. Also, I'm using custom physics, so it would be best to make it for kinematic rigidbodies (Although if you have an answer that uses a dynamic rigidbody, please still tell me). Any help is appreciated!
