using monodevelop to print script files
hi
i currently writing my scripts in monodevelop. i would like to know how to print out the script files. when i pressed and , it just popped up a menu asking for a name of a printer file. i have no idea what it was asking.
any help will be appreciated.
thanks
Are you sure it wasn't asking for the name of your printer ?
Looks like you have an emulated printer installed. It has nothing to do with Unity or $$anonymous$$onodevelop.
thanks for your replies.
i include a screen shot of the menu that popped up when i tried to print. my printer is dell 1350 cnw color laser printer.
when i pressed "find printer", i got an window that asked to select a file.

I've converted your "answer" into a comment.
We are looking for the print option for my standalone and webplayer builds ... How to get screen image on paper ? Can you help ?

Why did you post a comment here? Your question isn't related to the question that was asked here.
It looks like you woke up almost every question that has the word "print" in the title. That's just ridiculous. If you have a question, why didn't you post a question and include more details about what you've tried so far?

Printing scripts on paper? That's the strangest thing i've ever heard, but well no one stops you ;)
MonoDevelop just asks you what printer it should use. It looks like you don't have a printer installed in your OS. Usually the default printer will be preselected. You can click Find Printer and see if there is one, but that's really something that has absolute nothing to do with Unity.
Anyway, good luck...
I print my scripts every once in a while so I dont have to look at a computer screen and I can use pen or pencil to cross stuff out or jot down ideas.
$$anonymous$$y senior (well, not that senior) coworkers do this, too, and ask me to do it when I want more eyes on my code. It makes sense, but it's such a hassle.

I print out stuff all of the time using other programming languages. It helps a lot.
