How to correctly size Unity web player using aspect ratio?
Hey all,
I'm trying to put up a web version of one of my mobile games. I've finished everything, and have it running on the web-- the only issue I'm having now is getting it to size properly for different window sizes. It seems that the build settings for "Resolution & Presentation" (Default Screen Width & Default Screen Height) will be used as the size of the unity player, and will remain this size when resizing the window.
So, for example, when I build with 600x960 for width/height, the game looks fine on my big screen monitor, but when run on my laptop, the window runs off of the screen.
I would think that this would be a fairly common use case- especially for simple web games. I guess my question can be simplified to the following:
Is there anyway to set the resolution to be an Aspect ratio, as opposed to pixel based sizing?
Can I then tell the unity web player window to preserve this aspect ratio on resizing?
If anyone can point me to anything that might help, I'd appreciate it very much!
Thank you!
