PC/Mac Unity Compatibility

Can a user using the Mac version of Unity collaborate and develop with another user who is developing using the PC version of Unity?

If this question has been posted previously please feel free to redirect. I tried the search feature but did not find anything related to this topic.

can you compile the scripts in mac when the script made in visual studio ?

Yes, Unity projects and packages are cross-platform.

Ok. But are there guidelines to do it? Because I've tried opening up a project from the PC (Both Pro Licenses) and it just became a mess that wouldn't work.

@Code$$anonymous$$onkeyCrying Yes, I just did it from my Windows 10 PC and opened the same project on my $$anonymous$$acBook Pro 2017; and since Visual Studio can work on both PC and $$anonymous$$ac, it looks basically identical.
