Limit framerate for game like sudoku to optimize the battery
I'm developing a sudoku app and I'm having a problem. My application consumes a lot of battery (more than any other made with android studio). I found where the problem came from the frame rate. It is about 60 all the time. On the applications made with android studio, the frame rate is about 5 and increases to 60 only if there is an animation.
If I lower the frame rate manually to 5:
// Application.targetFrameRate = 300;
I feel lag on the buttons, the application loses responsiveness ..
The only solution I found is to put:
// QualitySettings.vSyncCount = 2;
But it's not great, the application is a little less greedy battery, but no big changes and I lose the fluidity of animations ...
Do you have a solution ?
From what I hear, this is a known problem with Unity that the new input system is meant to address. $$anonymous$$ore info on this forum thread.
