Compile Error - Ball Script & Ball User Control Script Can't be Loaded

I'm getting the following error when creating the RollerBall:

"The associated script can not be loaded. Please fix any compile errors and assign a valid script"

There is an error message at the bottom of the Unity screen - pls see screenshot.

I've tried the usual of restart Unity, and re-install to the latest version (5.6.2f1). I'm running windows 10 (64 bit).
