Can you render only some pixel of a Normal Map ?
Hey I want Model with 2 Normal Maps. One Base normal and one Detail Normal. And i want to change via script or/and shader the rendering of the top normal map. So that i have a base normal and like 6-8 different details on the secound map. And then i can turn on and of again the details. For example details 1st detail is in area 0*50 Pixel and the 3rd detail is in the area . So i can activate Detail 1 and 2 while detail 3 on the mesh only has the half strength. 200*400 pixel.
So is there a way to do something like that. Only render some parts of a texture/normalMap? Or is there a better way to something like that. I dont really want to have 5 or 6 different maps or models.
