Ball is moving with constant velocity but not attaining same distance
I have created a Kinematic equation of calculating the velocity required to launch a ball so that it passes through a given position. This velocity is being calculated for each time ball collides with the platform. Each time the amount of velocity remains the same but the horizontal distance travelled by the ball changes by a minor value which causes the ball to lose the track in the long run.
How can I maintain this horizontal distance (in my case 2f)?
