Would a game like ZombieVille USA 2 be considered 2D or 2.5D?
Hey guys, I'm getting started in game development and I'm currently pursuing an idea I've had for a mobile game that plays in a similar perspective to ZombieVille USA 2, which is graphically 2D but also has the illusion of a z axis.
The problem is, I'm not sure whether or not I should be learning about 3D development or 2D, because I don't know if a game would be developed in 3D mode, but just with 2D graphics, or if I could get similar results with 2D development. If anyone could give me advice as to which one I should be learning right now, it'd help me out a lot.
