Unity 5 (bug?) trial version
Hi, I wanted to know if this is a feature or a bug and if it is a bug, how do i get rid of it?
I developed a small benchmark tool in Unity 5 for a client of mine. It is the first application I ever made within Unity 5 and i'm using Unity 5 personal edition.
I noticed a little piece of text in the right bottom corner displaying "trial version". I thought that the personal edition only locked the splash screen. What do you guys know about this?
It is worth mentioning that I used trial versions of Unity 3 and 4 pro in the past.

@StaticHS No, I am using the personal edition. I also cleaned all old Unity (3 and 4) folders and cleaned the registry.

Found the problem, it was the index-local.xml file, apparently it did not get renewed with the new Unity 5 installation, simply deleted it and the Unity_v5.x.ulf file. This triggered the re-activation of the personal edition and thus creating a fresh index-local.xml file. It removed the trial version.
Could you please explain were I can find the index-local.xml and the Unity_v5.x.ulf file. I have the exact same problem! EDIT: $$anonymous$$Y FAULT! Forget it ;) I had a pro license that Unity has sent to me so that I could upgrade my Unity Asset Store tools before Unity 5 came out. I will miss the black pro skin :(
Yea I will miss that skin to. But you get used to the light skin rather quickly, especially now the full engine is featured, it will sore the pain :). I am still upgrading all of my packages on the store to Unity 5. I did install the beta version, but it gave me some inconsistencies, which are now resolved.
